The Blog

Soon, I'll be attempting to turn incoherent thoughts about process, UX, UI, design and tech in general into something suitable for human eyes. While I figure how to do that, this will remain a part of my site that might as well just read "coming soon".

Bustle

The Londoner’s bus depature board, Bustle was the result of my first foray into proper API and mobile development. Using TFL data, Bustle finds stops near you and will display the arrival times quicker and clearer than any other app on the App Store.

Bustle was released for iOS on the 4st of December 2012 and can be downloaded on the App Store now.

Atweeviate
is a Twitter experiment that helps Twitter users meet that 140 character limit without sacrificing English

An easy way for users of Twitter to be more efficient with their tweets. Uses the right click pattern for spell check to suggest shorter words, acronyms & contractions to help users get their thoughts down to, or under, 140 characters.

Atweeviate is currently under development and we’ll be inviting beta testers to tweet better in the near future.

BBC Archive
is a D&AD Student Award winning project that brings the riches of the BBC Archive to a multi-platform audience

My solution to the D&AD 2011 Interactive Design brief is an interactive television channel that ties together multiple platforms the BBC currently run. It’s designed to allow users to discover new content as well as indulging in nostalgia of the BBC’s rich history.

Lesson Six
is a website about cliche-free hip-hop

Lesson Six is a music blog, and subsequently a music newspaper/magazine, about Cliché-Free Hip-Hop that aims to change people’s perceptions from what mainstream rap music has become.

After a year of the site being live, the team had learnt alot about the process of sharing music and changed their direction since producing a print newspaper.

Nerv App
is a series of mini-games and quizzes that allow users to learn First Aid without actually having to learn First Aid

Nerv was the result of a group project for the iPhone platform. The brief was to create something that could inform and teach. Nerv uses interactive mini-games and quizzes to teach the practice of First Aid.

Instead of letting the user read bland information on First Aid, we decided to take advantage of the device and make the learning experience more interactive. Something unlike anything on the App
